Born as Rajni on January 5, 1948, in Depla village near Palitana, Gujarat. Son of Shri Dalichand and Smt. Champaben. The spiritual atmosphere of Palitana's Jain temples shaped his early consciousness.
Under the influence of his deeply religious father and Acharya Shri Vijay Bhuvanbhanusuri Maharaj, young Rajni's spiritual inclinations deepened, laying the foundation for his life of renunciation.
At age 19, Rajni renounced worldly life and took Jain monastic initiation under Bhuvanbhanusuri, becoming Muni Shri Ratnasundarvijayji Maharaj.
At just 21, merely three years after diksha, he began delivering his first public discourses. His logical reasoning and captivating oratory quickly drew vast audiences across Gujarat and beyond.
He embarked on an extraordinary literary career, writing books on spirituality, self-development, Jain history, and moral philosophy.
In recognition of his profound scholarship, exemplary ascetic conduct, and transformative spiritual leadership, he was elevated to the rank of Acharya โ the highest monastic designation โ as Acharya Vijay Ratnasundarsurishwarji Maharaj Saheb.
Launched a petition seeking a ban on meat export from India, advocating at the national level for the Jain principle of ahimsa (non-violence).
